When Santa Claus is hotter than Prince Charming it doesn't take mistletoe to put kissing him at the top of Lucy's Christmas list. Falling for him is another story. Lucy has a boyfriend. Or had one. She followed him to Sugar Creek, Vermont on the romantic vacation they were supposed to take together. Only her ex is determined not to let her back into his life. With the help of Torin, the town Santa Claus, she's determined to become the woman her ex fell in love with and get him back.

Two years after his wife passed away, Torin is back in Sugar Creek with his four-year-old daughter, struggling to keep the family business afloat. He doesn’t have any interest in a relationship, until Lucy literally falls in his lap. She claims a spot at the forefront of his mind with a single kiss. When she checks in to his family’s inn, he has a decision to make. Take a chance on falling in love again, or agree to help Lucy get back together with her ex-boyfriend. Then he finds out who her ex is, and dating her is out of the question.

Despite a pact that they will not fall for each other, a relationship develops. Holiday gatherings and family events force Lucy and Torin to face their growing romance and heal their bruised hearts. Walls will come down and barriers will be broken, if they are brave enough to choose love.
