Hi, I'm Annie

I love writing romance. From the quirky meet cutes to the drama breakups and most of all the swoony kisses. I write to escape the world and share the crazy creativity that has a tendency to explode right out of my head.

My Story

I've been writing books since I was a little girl with vivid memories of book fairs and "publishing" my first books between sheets of blue construction paper. Spoiler it was a princess story... I guess I always knew what I liked.

Years later, my best friends re-introduced me to the art of storytelling and I fell all over again.

My writing journey took me through many genres, from poetry and young adult, to fantasy and thrillers before I realized what I loved most about all of them was the love story.  Every story no matter the genre carried at least a thread of love to feel complete. That's when I knew the kind of stories I wanted to tell.

After all, a story without a little romance has lost its heart.

I'm almost ten years into my writing journey and, while I'm still progressing, I've learned time and again why not everyone is a writer. It's not easy and I don't know if it ever will be for me, but it's a creativity that can't be expressed any other way. I love writing. I love finding the pieces of myself that tell a beautiful story and I love discovering the truth that connects to all of us.

Now here I am, with kids, a mortgage, and my own epic love still unfolding. Writing will forever be a part of my story but I'm weaving it with a thread of love.
