Two Friends, A Book, & A Bird
Heidi and Hillary met in Bella Vista, Arkansas in 2021. Miles from their homes and exactly where they needed to be. Heidi had recently moved from Montana and Hillary had settled there a decade before after growing up on the west coast. With a quick connection over books and writing, they began to edit and collaborate together. That friendship is the basis of Copper Crow. We strive to create the same kind of friendship with our authors and readers. Which helps us create beautiful Copper Crow books, inside and out.

Copper Crow is named after Heidi’s copper-haired grandmother Nannette Crow. Grandma Nannette loved art and music, dancing and singing, and most of all—reading poetry. She believed, as we do, that words give us wings. Travel with one of our author’s books into a different land, a different time, a different life, and let the words leave a trail across your heart.
